Garces Events Down The Shore-Plans for The Playground

ATLANTIC CITY—Garces Events Down The Shore is pleased to share plans for The Playground. The Playground is the redevelopment project in Atlantic City being transformed by Tower Investments CEO, Bart Blatstein. Central to Blatstein’s redevelopment plan for The Playground is “T Street” (T for Tower) to be located on the first level. Here Blatstein plans a street reminiscent of music row in Nashville, Beale Street in Memphis and 6th Street in Austin, with themed clubs, featuring buzz-worthy young acts in virtually every music and entertainment genre, including country, rock, jazz, folk, rhythm and blues, reggae and comedy.

The food and beverage operation will be overseen by Garces Events Down the Shore’s Chef de Cuisine Mike Siegel (formerly Chef de Cuisine at The Olde Bar) and General Manager Patrick Sterr (formerly General Manager of Village Whiskey).

“The menu and drink offerings tie into the energy and fun of The Playground, its varied entertainment venues, and Atlantic City, all with our twist,” said Chef Jose Garces. “We are very excited to be in Atlantic City and to team up with Bart Blatstein and Tower Investments.”

Garces Events Down the Shore created a menu of elevated bar snacks and hand held foods that are easy to eat and designed for sharing. The Playground allows guests to freely pass through its unique venues - food and beverages in-hand.
